I'm about to buy a new desktop (msi's nightblade) but before spending my money i was wondering if completely changing the language in windows 10 to english or italian is an option. (the os will be in dutch by default)Am I supposed to pay extra money for the PRO version as for users who upgraded from win7 or 8 or will it be a feature available by default? Will the translation change the whole OS? I'm asking because i saw people having problems with cortana when not using the default language. Thanks! But then somebody else: ' I have upgraded to Windows 10 now and I was able to change the language without buying the pro version! I don't know why people in this thread said that we need the pro version to do that, but it's not true.' Later again: ' There still seem to be something like 'Single Language' versions, maybe linked to OEM deals. I ran into this problem.

New laptop but can't seem to change my UI language. First HP checked with MS (prior to buying), then MS said yes. After buying it didn't work and then MS said 'no can't do' on the phone when I asked. It's confusion all over again.'

So it's terribly confusing to me. Sounds like it works sometimes but some others it doesn't. Is there for me a way to know if the oem version I'm going to get with my new desktop will allow me to download a new language? Thanks again!
