Greetings fellow Microsoft users,I'm an IT administrator in a medium sized company (about 500 clients) and just tried to deploy Office 2019 Professional Plus VL on a singleclient pc for test purposes. But unfortunately KMS activation isn't working.TheKMS service is running on a Windows Server 2012R2 Std which in return based on a 2008R2 domain controller. Thus, as far as I understand, the functional level of the KMS running server is limited to 2008R2, too, which could cause most of theproblems we currently face.About half a year ago we reset the KMS service (uninstalled all CSVLKs, deleted SRV record, checked for other SRV records and reinstalledeverything) as various KMS activations were unsuccessful. Since then everything was working.CSVLKs for the following products are installed and automated KMS activation is working for those: Windows 7 and 10 Enterprise, OfficePro Plus 2010, 2013 and 2016, Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016 Standard.After installing the and restarting sppsvc I was also enable to successfully install the Office Pro Plus 2019 KMS Key. But still the client won't activate and throw the following errors:cscript ospp.vbs /act givesError 0xC004F074: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted.cscript ospp.vbs /dhistory givesError 0xC004F042: The Software Licensing Service determined that the specified Key Management Service (KMS) cannot be used.Meanwhile reactivating Windows 10 or Office 2016 is still working on the exact same client.cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:kms-server01v isn't fixing it. Nslookup -type=srv vlmcs.tcpalso shows the correct server as only SRV record. The standard port 1688 is allowed and also flawlessly working for the other activations.I also tried adding the Office 2019 Pro Plus GVLK as well as CSVLK in VAMT 3.1 after installing the.
VAMT tells that it could not activate the keys.I think that should be enough of the informations.:)Is it maybe just due to the 2008R2 domain controller? What i noticed, is that you cannot activate the office key from the command line, like im used to doing. You have to do it in the wizard. The 2019 install wizard then activates theoffice key.really wish they would tell us what the wizard is doing so we can do it by the command line instead.Hey,Having the same problems here and i don't quite catch your input.Could you tell a bit more specific, about what wizard are you talking about?
